Biography :
Héctor Oaks is an artist Based in Berlin coming from Madrid, he's made quite a name for himself during the last years. In 2014 he joined the KEY imprint and later became part of the Unbroken Booking agency, an established collective of friends and artists from Berlin. In 2015 he started working at The Record Loft, one of the most well known record stores in Kreuzberg, Berlin. In 2016 he started being resident of one of the most renowned techno clubs in Madrid Stardust.Héctor has also released superlative works on Sonntag Morgen, Quant and Mutewax along with a slew of remixes played by some of the most well known Djs of the scene.
At the middle of this year 2016, he founded his own imprint, OAKS, with its first release being one of his strongest works yet. Sound-wise, what is unique about Hector is his uncanny sense of producing truly evoking and outstanding pieces of timeless techno. Powerful, deep, raw and emotive his sound juxtaposes classic and soulful Detroit and Chicago with Berlin's modern raw and powerful sound, meanwhile infusing his trademark of authentic and enthralling melodies.
Although his production has played an instrumental part in his success, DJing was what first attracted him to electronic music and led him to production. Having started DJing at fifteen, his skill and musical selection has developed immensely over the years through both practice and dedication. This work made him appear regularly in the mighty Berghain booth, among others around Europe. London, Paris, Poland or Tbilisi (Georgia) are other places where he had also appeared recently.
Filip Xavi Biography :
Coming from Belgrade Serbia, Filip Xavi is recognized as one of the pillars of the local techno scene and founder of his very own Teskoba Recordings. As a rebel against genre/trend confinements he was always attracted to the more cerebral and darker side of techno music, manipulating with hypnotic and abstract musical structures, combining them with relentless drums wich in time developed into his own recognizable style.Predicting the wave of dark onerous techno that was about to hit the clubs in Europe, in 2008 Filip started Teskoba Recordings , concieved as a platform for the techno sound of the future.After appearances on several labels, in spring 2013 his first solo EP "Inline Agents" was released for a renowned Spanish techno label "Subsist Records" and received great reception among the main players on the techno scene. Follow up EP on Italian label "Sonntag Morgen" in 2013 also gained notice.
In November 2015 Filip's debut vinyl EP "Explanation Skip" ( including Dasha Rush remix) was published by Sonntag Morgen on their 7th vinyl installment , having received notable support from the main players on the techno circuit.
As resident of Belgrades techno mecca- "Drugstore", over the past two years he hosted and played alongside names such as: Rodhad, DVS1, Dasha Rush, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Phase, Dimi Angelis, Ancient Methods ,Shifted, Stanislav Tolkachev, Adam X, Elektrabel...
This sequence of events led to the multiple invitations to Berlin's legendary Tresor club (August 2014 and November 2015).
Filip continues to pursue his mission of taking the audience into uncharted territory of sound and space, an approach that fills the dancefloor with mystique and suspense on a path to catharsis.
